Online Quran Tajweed Classes for Kids
For children who can join Quran words and are ready to improve pronunciation and apply Tajweed. One-to-one practice starts from your child’s recitation level, with clear feedback and a short home target.

Learn and apply
What your child will practice
Rules are introduced through examples the child can hear, repeat, read, and use in recitation. The starting point follows a brief assessment.
Makharij
Practice the articulation points of letters that need correction through teacher modelling and listening.
Letter characteristics
Notice key sound qualities and give each letter its clearer sound in context.
Noon and tanween
Apply introductory rules of noon sakinah and tanween in suitable Quranic examples.
Meem and ghunnah
Hear and practice meem sakinah rules and measured nasal sound where it belongs.
Madd and qalqalah
Distinguish basic elongation from short vowels and practice clear bouncing sounds.
Stopping and starting
Build awareness of suitable pauses and careful restarts while reciting short passages.
A clear learning route
Hear it, understand it, recite it
The teacher checks application in real recitation before introducing more rules. The sequence and pace adjust to the child.
Hear a model recitation and identify the sound to work on.
Practice letter articulation and common pronunciation errors.
Meet one essential rule with short examples and a visual cue.
Use it in ayat and short Surahs, with immediate feedback.
Revisit earlier rules in new passages and assess consistency.
If your child still needs connected reading practice, begin with Quran Reading for Kids. This course focuses on the sound and rules of recitation, while Hifz focuses on memorization and Ijazah is an advanced path with its own requirements.
Practice built around the child
Turn common recitation mistakes into progress
- Similar sounds: focused listening, mouth position cues, and one correction target at a time.
- Remembering a rule but missing it in ayat: repeat the same pattern across fresh examples.
- Rushing or over stretching madd: guided pacing and measured modelling.
- Confusing ghunnah and qalqalah: contrast the sound in short, clear examples.
- Too many corrections at once: prioritize the most useful change, then build gradually.
- Not knowing what to practice: a short home target and parent progress note.
Included in each learning plan
Live individual teaching, listening and repeat practice, simple rule explanations, correction during recitation, short home practice, and milestone reviews.
Families can discuss a male or female teacher, available times, and 30, 45, or 60 minute options in the free trial. The lesson format is chosen around the child’s level and attention.

Which course comes first?
Foundation builds letters and vowels; Reading develops connected text and fluency. Here your child practices accurate sound and Tajweed application. Hifz is a separate memorization path, and Ijazah is for advanced learners.
Helpful reading for parents
Support your child between Tajweed lessons
- Understand makharij and letter articulation — see why specific sound correction matters.
- Help your child when you do not read Arabic — support a routine while the teacher checks recitation.
- Track Quran progress beyond page counts — use clear learning goals and teacher feedback.
Common questions
Before your child starts
Does my child need to read Quran already?
Basic connected reading helps. The teacher checks the starting level; a child still learning to decode can start with Reading.
Are the rules taught as theory?
Short explanations support listening and recitation. Children practice each rule in suitable words and ayat.
What happens in the free trial?
Tell us your child’s age, current reading level and the sounds they find difficult. The teacher listens to a suitable passage and recommends whether to begin with reading support or applied Tajweed. Discuss lesson length, teacher preference and available times before booking a regular plan.
How can I help between lessons if I do not read Arabic?
Ask for the exact passage and correction target covered in class. Help your child keep a short practice routine using the teacher’s model, and leave pronunciation corrections to the teacher. Parent progress notes help you follow what is improving and what to practise next.
How long does the course take?
The pace depends on your child’s reading, pronunciation and practice. Progress means using a rule accurately in new ayat, not only naming it. The teacher reviews recurring letter errors, the rules studied and suitable stopping points before moving on; there is no fixed completion date.
Is this an Ijazah program?
No. Ijazah is a separate advanced route. This course helps children apply essential Tajweed in their regular recitation.
When is the certificate given?
After the teacher verifies the course milestones. Ali’s certificate above is a sample of the design.
